Key-worker support
Where there is a critical need for support because an adult is not available at home, Jordanhill School is able to offer a limited number of places for children of key-workers.
The school can only make provision for families where both (or single) parent/carer qualify as a key worker. Scottish Government has stated that, if one parent is a key worker and the other is not, the non-key worker should be expected to provide childcare. If it is possible for children to be at home, then they should be and should not be in school.
It would be expected that this provision would apply for Primary and S1 pupils only. We will consider all applications on an individual basis, including any applications for secondary pupils.
