Save the date! Friday 17th May 2019.
The support we have had from the community for all our charity events has been incredibly warming.
Following on from the success of our Halloween disco and haunted tour, fireworks stalls and S1 welcome disco we would love to see you all again at our flagship event, the 2019 Charity Dinner.
This session the S6 Charity Committee has worked tirelessly fundraising for 3D Drumchapel a charity close to the hearts of many. 3D Drumchapel exists to support families in relationships, parenting skills, well-being and child development.
This Charity Dinner is our main fundraising event of the year and will be held on Friday 17th May at 7pm in Jordanhill School. A tantalising three-course meal will be served after a Prosecco reception. Photographs will be taken by our professional photographer and our special guest speaker is the very talented Colin McCredie the Scottish actor, best known for his role as DC Stuart Fraser in the STV drama Taggart, Nick Morrison in the Soap Opera River City and in the films Shallow Grave, Night is Day and The Missing Postman.
We will also have fun games, a silent auction and a raffle to entertain and keep you amused. Whilst the evening doesn’t carry a specific theme we invite guests to dress up a little for the occasion and invite ladies to sparkle and gentlemen to radiate sophistication. Tickets priced at a supremely reasonable £40 per person can be purchased online via ParentPay. Please download and return the booking form with menu choices to the School not later than Friday 26th April 2019. Tickets can also be purchased using this form. Tables of 8 or 10 are available to be booked as well, should you wish to invite a few friends and family to enjoy the evening.
You may be aware that last year’s S6 Charity Dinner was an amazing success and indeed sold out within weeks of launch, so we would love to see you all at our event this year to ensure similar success. Please buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment. All profits will go to 3D Drumchapel. For further information please contact Miss Grant the Bursar or either of us via the School Office. Looking forward to having a great evening with you all.
