The school provides a wide range of information to inform parents about what and how their children are learning and to offer some guidance and advice on the part that parents can play in supporting their child. The extent to which parents will wish to engage with this information will vary enormously.
Literacy and Numeracy
The Pupil Planners for P4-S2 have a copy of the Literacy Marking Code and a Literacy Vocabulary section in them. Guidance on approaches to Literacy and Numeracy have been produced for all teachers. While parents may find these documents insightful and useful, please be aware that they are not written for parents.
In Focus Leaflets
These provide insights and guidance into a wide range of factors which can influence the development and learning of children. Homework guides for parents of pupils in S1 to S3 will also be found here.
